She smirked, “Believe me when I tell you my imagination is either making you grander or more monstrous than what you in fact, actually are.” She sipped her drink, thankful for the cool beer. “So, how can you afford to be so candid about your position in the world? Seems a criminal wouldn’t go around telling every stranger he meets his occupation.” Her eyes sparkled slightly; she felt no fear sitting next to Mr. Moriarty, in fact, she was slightly excited. That was, if in fact he was speaking truth.

“Well, you asked.” He let out a lighthearted chuckle. “There isn’t much the authorities can do about me. There’s no evidence. I’m too good.” He smiled and swiveled on his bar stool to face her. “Now, enough about me. Tell me about yourself.”

It took all her power to keep her mouth closed; the urge to let her jaw fall in shock was strong. “Bit bold you are.” She smirked into her glass. “Oh, me? Not much to tell…” She tapped her nails against her glass beer mug. “Well, currently attending the University of London; looking at majoring in English Lit… Would be grand to be accepted into their dance program as well.” She smiled sheepishly. “A little whimsy huh?”

“Currently?” She chuckled eyeing her book, “Getting away from reality…” She tapped on the edge of her coffee mug before continuing, “Otherwise, I’m just going to university.” The thought of what Rigantona said about fixing problems made Sarah curious, “Just what sort of problems do you fix?” Her mind was lingering on the neighbor a floor below.

“Books are wonderful for that, aren’t they?” Riggy looked at the title of the book and then her name was called for her order. She motioned with her finger for a second and she got her frap. She returned shortly, “Well, college is fun, a time to explore who you are and you want to be.” She sipped her drink, trying too think of how to word this, “I fix problems that most people won’t want to believe are there.”

Sarah sipped on her coffee, a grin forming on her lips as the girl before her informed her as to her occupation. “Oh try me…” She chuckled; after a stint in the Labyrinth, there was little Sarah wouldn’t believe. Albeit, she had no intention of confiding to Riggy about said fact; last thing she needed was yet another person thinking she was a loon.

“Two pints of your best on tap please!” She looked back at Jim. “So then, what do you do Mr. Moriarty?” Resting her elbow on the bar, she laced her fingers through her hair, letting her head nestle in the palm of her hand.

Jim tilted his head and studied her. “I’m the Consulting Criminal. I invented the job.”

Sarah tensed slightly, straightening a bit, “Consulting Criminal aye?” She raised a curious brow, “And just what does a consulting criminal do?” She leaned against the counter to get a sip of her beer, the pint barely fitting in her hands.

He giggled. “I won’t hurt you, dear…I suppose you can imagine what I do.” He smiled softly and took a swig of his drink.

Sarah stood on the edge of the park, having just pocketed her cell phone, remembering to silent it in the event of persistent callers. She kept scanning the park, excitement bubbling up in her, something she knew was going to make the inevitable quite difficult. After all, he was part of a traveling circus.

It wasn’t long after they hung up however, that she spotted him coming across the lawn, drenched and carrying a towel. If she wasn’t mistaken, his hair was definitely pink and his eyes seemed to shine blue. Funny… I thought they were brown… She smiled and waved at him, suddenly feeling rather foolish for doing so. She couldn’t help but blush as he grew nearer, his shirt seemed to cling to him in just the right way.

“Jeremy!” She beamed, tying to walk rather than run, to greet him. “Um, you look…” She giggled, “Smashing. Part of an act maybe?” The girl had to do everything in her power to not stare.

He gave her a nod and a slight wave as he rubbed the towel upon his bright hot pink locks, “Glad you could make it Sarah.” his face beamed, he didn’t think he would be so glad to see her. At the mention of his appearance he gave a small shrug, “Yeah, it’s an alternate ego thing, though I’m usually drier when I’m on stage.” he smirked and wrapped the damp towel around his neck. “We just finished setting up most of the tents and staging. There isn’t much left to put up except for the lighting and the decorations but I think most of the crew is taking a break.”

He flashed her a grin and almost forgot the reason why she had come here, “Oh! I almost forgot it’s time to- woah!” Jeremy was suddenly yanked by the belt of his pants from behind by two identical teenage brunettes who yelled out in unison, “Gotcha!” Jeremy rolled his eyes and let out a sigh moving to the side to reveal the mischievious young ladies. “I was going to say, to introduce you to the main crew…but it seems Rachel and Amanda beat me to that. Sarah, these are The Twins, Rachel and Amanda they are the main acrobats and contortionists for the circus.

The twins tilted there heads in unison and examined the girl before them and glanced at each other before their lips curled into grins, they each outstretched their arms to greet her, “Nice to meet you!” they said together. It seemed that today was a day where they were getting along, which meant trouble for everyone else.

Sarah tried to play things cool, but it seemed impossible to wipe her smile from her face. She giggled slightly at Jeremy’s joke regarding normally being dryer, though her eyes widened as two girls playfully attacked him from behind. They were rather gorgeous, and Sarah couldn’t help but sink into her jacket slightly, suddenly feeling quite plain.

Sarah took their hands and smiled, “A pleasure to meet you!” She clasped her hands before her, feeling a bit shy. “Um, so then,” Her hair fell from behind her ear, “Let’s meet everyone else?” She beamed and did her best to swallow her nervousness.

Sarah tapped her pen on her lips. “Mmm… I’d stick with that or the mocha. You really can’t go wrong; they use Swiss chocolate in everything, so it’s all actually quite smooth, and their caramel is just short of handmade.” She smiled, “If you need a table, you’re welcome to share mine.” She stated, eyeing the quite full cafe.

Riggy could help but make an excited squeek. She ordered her caramel frap and went to sit down with the woman she just met as she waited for her drink. “Well, thank you, you are very kinda.” She extended her hand, “Rigantona Bulmstein, pleasure to meet you.”

Sarah smiled as the girl pulled out the chair before her and took a seat at her table. Pushing the book aside, she took the girl’s hand, “Likewise; I’m Sarah, Sarah Williams.” She pushed back a lose strand of hair behind her ear as she leaned back into her chair. “So, what do you do? Are you from London?”

She chuckled, “I fix problems, no matter how big or small. I travel around a lot for this job. Right now I live in New York, but I may change my venue soon. I haven’t made up my mind.” Riggy tilted her head, “What are you doing in this fine city?”
